75 g butter
3/4 c brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 – 1 c milk
1 c raw chopped or grated apple
2 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp mixed spice
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp salt
Beat butter and sugar in a bowl until pale and fluffy. Beat in egg, and milk.
Add apple. Then add salt and sifted dry ingreds. Mix all together. Spoon into muffin tins, bake 200°C for 12-15 mins.
