Ginger gems

75g butter
1/4 c sugar
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp golden strup
1 egg
1 c flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 c milk

Preheat oven 200°C and place gem iron in to heat. Cream butter and sugar with spices. Add golden syrup and egg. sift flour and baking powder. Dissolve baking soda in milk. Mix all together. Butter pan well prior to adding mixture to the preheated pan. Bake for 15 mins.
