Hot puddings

Feather pudding (steamed)

125g (4oz) butter
125g (4oz) sugar
2 eggs, white and yolks well-beaten separately
175 g (6oz) flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs yolks, sifted flour and baking powder, milk and vanilla. Fold in egg white. Cover bottom of basin with raspberry jam or golden syrup. Place mixture on. Steam 2 hours quickly. Serve with a suitable sauce.
