Makes 12
3/4 cup plain flour
1/4 wholemeal flour
pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
1/4 teaspoon Cream of tartar
40g white sugar
1 tbsp milk
110 g butter, softened
Preparation Method:
In a mixer add flours, salt, baking soda, cream or tartar, and sugar; mix until blended. Add milk, then add butter and mix well. Roll out on a floured surface till very thin (1/2 cm thick). Cut into small rounds depending on what size you prefer.
Bake at 180 C on buttered baking sheets until golden brown, about 12-15 minutes. Cool on rack.
