Blackcurrant jam

1 1/2 kg (3 lb) of Blackcurrants
2 litres (4 pints) of water
1 1/2 kg (3 lb) of Sugar

Boil the fruit and water for 1 1/2 hours.
Add the sugar and boil for a further 20 min or until the jam sets.
Bottle while warm
