115g butter
1 tbsp sugar,
1 tbsp plain malt
1 tbsp golden syrup
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 c (scant) flour
Beat butter & sgar. Heat but don’t boil malt & golden syrup & stir in soda. Comes up frothy. Pour into butter & sugar & add flour.
Roll into balls
Bake 160 -180 12 mins or until golden brown.
