125g butter
1 tbsp golden syrup
3-4 tbsp boiling water
1 t baking soda, level
1 c rolled oats
1 c desiccated coconut
1 1/2 c flour
1 c sugar
Place butter and golden syrup in a saucepan and heat until melted together, stirring with a wooden spoon.
Add the baking soda, stir to dissolve. Then add the boiling water.
Place the oats, coconut, flour and sugar in a large bowl, make a well.
Tip ithe butter mix into the bowl of dry ingreds.
Stir all together.
Form into bulls with a dessertspoon, and place on a greased baking tray, do not flatten.
Bake 180°C for 15 minutes.
